E/Search International begins every retained search with an in-depth meeting with the client to understand the exact requirements of the job at hand. This meeting may be in person or by telephone, depending on the client's wishes. From that meeting, a job description is written and approved by the client prior to starting the search.

Research is then conducted with a focus toward the competition and potential candidates are identified. Whenever possible, E/Search International tries to use industry referrals and recommendations as the basis for the search. Interviews are then conducted by telephone or in person, again according to the wishes of the client.

Reference checks, when possible, are made prior to presentation to the client. Finally, all suitable candidates are presented to the client. Interviews are then scheduled at the convenience of all parties.

E/Search International, at the direction of the client, is available to handle or assist in presenting the offer when appropriate. Negotiating assistance is also offered as needed.

A written agreement is signed by both parties prior to the start of any search. A copy of this agreement can be furnished upon request.

For companies that prefer working on a contingency basis, E/Search International offers an excellent program for finding exactly the right executive.

The search process is much the same as retained, except that meetings and interviews are typically done by telephone. Reference checks are usually done after the interview by either the client or E/Search International. A written agreement is also signed prior to starting work on contingent searches. A copy of this agreement is available for review upon request.
